Dense fog greeted me when I began my morning run at 7 a.m. According
to Gary Lezak over at the NBC Action Weather Blog, visibility was near
zero in certain spots. The fog was not that thick around the West Volker neighborhood and on west 39th Street, but the conditions gave the pre-work hours an eerie backdrop. Gary goes on to say that the recent heavy rains and 100% humidity have led to the fog, which is basically a stratus cloud on the ground.
